TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course is designed for participants wishing to attain a qualification enabling them to apply Emergency Care in an isolated area and liaise with the Royal Flying Doctor Service for the management and administration of medications to injured or ill casualties.

PREREQUISITES:

Current Senior First Aid qualifications.

	Preparation for work and travel to an Isolated Area
	Primary and Secondary Casualty Assessment
	Collecting an AMPLE history
	Pain Assessment (PQRST)
	Monitoring the casualty in the Isolated Area - Baseline Vitals
	Administration of drugs and medication under medical direction
	Orientation to the Royal Flying Doctor Service Medical Chest
