TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course is designed for participants wishing to attain a qualification enabling them to manage suspected spinal injuries utilising a variety of specialist emergency care equipment in their prescribed workplace


PREREQUISITES:

Current Life Support qualifications.

COMPETENCIES GAINED:

	Assess the situation and provide basic care to manage life threatening emergencies  (Life Support / CPR)
	Select and operate specialist emergency care equipment (Cervical Collars, KEDs, Spineboards)
