The Sentry Medical Thermal Blanket provides protective protection against excessive heat or cold. This metallised blanket reflects up to 80% of body heat and is recommended as an integral part of any survival equipment such as mountaineering, skiing, climbing, trekking, bush walking and in emergency situations as part of anti-shock treatment.

Shock is used to describe a condition when oxygen supply to the tissue is inadequate to meet the body’s needs Symptoms include a rapid and weak pulse, nausea, cold and clammy skin, pale in colour, possibly impaired consciousness, and/or shallow breathing and should be treated as a first aid urgency.
